Job summary

Bloom in Pocatello, Idaho, is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide rehab services to infants, children, and adolescents in a private practice setting. The independent contractor will evaluate and treat pediatric patients with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and mobility challenges.

The ideal candidate embraces evidence-based practice, family-centered care, and collaboration with caregivers. Flexible scheduling and a private-practice environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Idaho license to practice physical therapy.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or other degree meeting Idaho licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric PT evaluations and reassessments.
• Develop individualized plans of care with measurable goals.
• Provide interventions addressing gross motor development, strength, balance, coordination, and mobility.
• Educate caregivers on home exercise programs, transfers, and safety.
• Adapt interventions to each child’s developmental level and family priorities.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with caregivers, physicians, and other professionals.
