Job summary

Westchester-Putnam TheraTeam in Jefferson Valley, NY seeks compassionate therapists to join our therapist-owned agency providing pediatric PT in homes, schools, or our state-of-the-art facility. Flexible hours and both independent contractor and W2 positions, with competitive rates and a supportive team.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, educate families, document progress, and help children achieve developmental goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current NY Physical Therapist license.
• 1–2 years pediatric PT experience preferred; new grads with pediatric experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions tailored to each child's needs (motor development, strength, balance, mobility).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate families on home exercises, goals, and long-term strategies.
• Document patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and care planning; contribute to best practices.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and organizational policies.
