Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid NYS licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with 0-5 population is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and team members.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at achieving progress toward goals on an IFSP or IEP.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for students.
• Provide education and support to students, parents and their families regarding treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Stay updated on best practices in occupational health and therapy techniques.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
