Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, age-appropriate care for patients from newborn to 20 years old within established standards. You will work as part of the rehabilitation team, supporting safe patient care and education for families.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing care plans, documenting thoroughly, and guiding assistants. A Georgia PT license and BLS are required; pediatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pediatric theory relevant to practice in paediatric rehab.
• Excellent oral and written communication for patient education.
• Positive interpersonal skills in an interdisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and meets established standards.
• Develops and implements evidence-based care plans to achieve outcomes.
• Completes documentation per departmental standards in a timely manner.
• Involves caregivers with education tailored to learning needs.
• Oversees Physical Therapist Assistants and rehab aides as assigned.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate competencies across all age groups.
• Supports accreditation readiness and participates in program development.
• Travels to clinical locations to provide patient care as needed.
