Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive patient care and treatment in alignment with standard practice. The role requires NC licensure, a BS in Physical Therapy, and CPR certification renewed every two years.

You will evaluate, plan, document, and adjust care while mentoring students and collaborating with the health care team. The position emphasizes productivity standards, accurate coding, and maintaining quality through ongoing process improvements

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of North Carolina.
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school required
• CPR certification required every two years.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment according to Standard of Practice.
• Maintains accurate patient documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes.
• Meets department financial and productivity standards and adjusts schedules to meet patient needs.
• Participates in process management to improve quality and efficiency of services.
• Supervises physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students.
• Communicates professionally with patients, physicians, staff and external customers.
• Delivers patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines and hospital standards.
