Qualifications

• Initial certification by National Board for Physical Therapy.
• Current Physical Therapy License from the State of Nevada.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with children.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations for physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Develops ideas, plans, and procedures for initiation, expansion, improvement, and evaluation of therapy programs.
• Completes initial evaluations and re-evaluations for patients and selects appropriate assessment tools.
• Prepares reports and attends multidisciplinary case meetings to review treatment.
• Maintains clinical and administrative records in accordance with standards and policies.
• Participates in continuing education to maintain licensure and best practices.
• Case assignment discretion within the Early Intervention program.
• Interprets evaluation data and writes comprehensive reports reflecting strengths and barriers.
• Follows professional Code of Ethics and standards of practice.
