KidsCare Home Health, a therapist-owned pediatric home health provider, is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver medically prescribed therapy to children in their homes under supervision of a Physical Therapist. The role focuses on building strong caregiver partnerships, advancing treatment plans, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree as a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Current state-issued professional licensure.
• Valid state driver license.
• CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical treatment to patients as directed by PT supervisor.
• Consult with supervisor on patient progress and maintains appropriate records.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain appropriate communication with PT supervisor regarding progress, problems, home programs, and other issues related to the therapeutic process.
• Maintain and complete appropriate documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain adequate caseload with appropriate productivity.
• Attend Continuing Education activities and expand scope of service.
• Responsible for the maintenance of supplies and equipment.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve company and departmental goals.
• Serve as the backup service provider for other caseloads as needed.
• Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
