Job summary

Easterseals Central Illinois is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our pediatric team at the Bloomington Service Center. You will provide outpatient rehabilitation, aquatic therapy, and assistive technology services to children, collaborating with families and an interdisciplinary team to promote mobility and participation in daily activities.

The role emphasizes family-centered care, program variety, and opportunities across clinics, home, and telehealth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Illinois licensure or eligibility required.
• Illinois Early Intervention credential or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial evaluations and develops treatment plans with goals and therapy recommendations.
• Provides direct therapy focused on functional goals and family participation across settings (clinic, home, telehealth when appropriate).
• Completes progress notes every 3–6 months or as required and maintains documentation.
• Mentors staff and supervises PTAs and clinical students as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

Licensed in Illinois or eligible for licensure

Illinois Early Intervention credential or eligible
