Family of Kidz seeks a Pediatric Physical Therapist (EI/CPSE) to support children at our Baldwin, NY Sensory Gym. Afterschool hours (4–7 pm) with a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days for active cases. Roles include designing interventions, evaluations, and collaboration with families and school teams.

Candidate requirements: DPT, NY PT license, strong communication, and a bilingual bonus. Full-time or fee-for-service arrangements may apply; benefits include PTO, health/dental/vision, 401(k), and

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a DPT in Physical Therapy.
• Current New York State Physical Therapy License.
• Bilingual is a plus (language skills valued).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up physical therapy evaluations.
• Communicate with lead supervisors, coordinators, and school teams regarding case management.
• Maintain professional relationships with families and professionals and ensure accurate attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain a schedule with assigned families and school personnel.
• Collect data on IFSP/IEP goals and report progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend CPSE/CSE meetings and annual reviews.

Location: Our State of the art Sensory Gym in Baldwin, NY

Status: Fee for Service

Hours: Afterschool hours (4-7p), flexible scheduling

Compensation

• Early Intervention: $64-$75/hour
• Preschool: $70/hour

Please note this is an average. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.
