Kenny Rogers Children’s Center in Missouri is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join a team of PTs, OTs and SLPs delivering pediatric therapy from birth to 21 years. The center treats over 600 children with progressive, team-based care and uses state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and Missouri Licensure.
• Tuition Assistance - $1,000 per year after one year
• Health insurance 100% employer paid
• $50,000 life insurance policy paid by the Center
• Professional Liability Insurance ($1,000,000 per occurrence/$3,000,000 aggregate)
• 10 vacation days per year
• 8 paid holidays per year (minimally)
• Continuing Education Allowance - $750 increasing every two years thereafter
• Annual Licensing fees paid by company
• Christmas holiday – 8-10 days off at Christmas, following school calendars

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate children using standardized tests, clinical observations and caregiver inquiries.
• Establish & implement individualized treatment programs including history, strength, weaknesses, interventions & goals.
• Reassess child’s performance and adjust treatment plan accordingly.
• Consult and educate caregivers to enhance implementation of treatment.
• Participate as an active member within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation (daily, monthly & annual evaluation & discharged summary).
• Participate in continuing education to further enhance skills and knowledge.

Kenny Rogers Children's Center is an outpatient pediatric therapy center currently recruiting a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team-oriented group of therapists in providing physical, occupational and speech therapy to children with special needs from birth to 21. Our team of therapists, combined with our progressive treatment allows us to provide specialized services to over 600 children in Southeast Missouri at no charge to families served.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated PT’s, OT’s and SLP’s that pride themselves in providing quality pediatric therapy to the children of Southeast Missouri. Our 17,000 sq. ft. facility has state-of-the-art equipment.

Function: Evaluate, establish, implement & re-assess Individualized Occupational Therapy programs for children.

Job Description
