Job Title: Pediatric Physical Therapist – Mobile Outpatient Practice

Overview

Coastal KIDS Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team of professionals along the shoreline. This mobile outpatient practice serves children from birth to 22 years of age, offering a variety of diagnoses in both a mobile outpatient and school-based setting.

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist with Coastal KIDS, you will utilize evidence-based practices to evaluate and treat children, collaborating closely with our team of Physical Therapists (PT), Occupational Therapists (OT), and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to support families and school districts in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of pediatric patients with a variety of diagnoses.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapy techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care and positive outcomes for patients.
• Provide education and support to families, caregivers, and school staff to promote ongoing progress and development.
• Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in pediatric physical therapy, continuing education, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric physical therapy experience (new graduates with relevant clinical affiliation experience will also be considered).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with children, families, and team members.
• Passion for working with pediatric populations and supporting their developmental needs.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile setting and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
