Lifelong Access is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our growing team of early intervention specialists. In this position, you will provide gross motor evaluations and treatment for children ages birth to 18 years of age. The Therapist is responsible for all decisions made relevant to the motor treatment plan development for children supported by Pediatric Therapy. Our Pediatric Physical Therapists function as part of a transdisciplinary team of therapists working with local on-site supervisors and management. Services provided are both clinic and community based. Minimum Starting Salary: $68,000 annually
Job Type:Full-time or Part-Time
Primary responsibilities include:- Administer necessary evaluations and written reports upon each child's entry into the program and reassessment after the initial evaluation when deemed appropriate.
- Develop gross motor related goals and objectives for each child.
- Implement treatment program for each child based on above goals and objectives. Develop strategies/techniques for home program as well as providing individualized treatment directly to each child.
- Collaborating with a team of other Lifelong Access professionals, including Developmental Therapists, Social/Emotional therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists, Board Certified Behavioral Analysts, and Registered Behavior Technicians.
- Responsible for individual documentation as required for State Early Intervention Program and insurance reimbursement purposes.
- Review client progress and update goals when necessary or upon parent requests.
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants as necessary.
Qualifications for this position include:- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program is required
- License in Physical Therapy
- Preferred Early Intervention Credential
- Valid Illinois driver’s license with driving record in good standing
- Current proof of automobile insurance
