Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician in Elk River, MN. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM with rotational weekends. Pediatrics experience is required, and the technician will perform and process POC testing and blood collection from adults, infants, and children.

Qualifications

• 1 year phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Pediatric experience is required.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsabilités

• Collects blood and/or performs POC as assigned.
• Cleans and restocks POC supplies and prepares phlebotomy carts/trays.
• Assists coworkers with draws and POC testing.
• Draws venous or capillary blood from newborn through geriatric patients using proper aseptic techniques.
• Delivers all blood work within policy timeframes.
• Performs and processes all POC tests on patients from newborn to geriatrics.
