Job summary

Children’s Medical Group, 4 offices in Atlanta area, is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist for the Buckhead location. The schedule includes Monday, Wednesday and Friday with an additional monthly Saturday rotation from 8:30am-1:00pm.

You will draw and label specimens, identify patients per HIPAA rules, and enter data into the records system. The role requires a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification, and the ability to multitask in a busy pediatric lab environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certified.
• Ability to Multi-task efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Familiarity with computers and other office equipment.
• Basic typing and keyboard skills.
• Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy according to stated procedure.

• Process specimens as soon as possible.
• Assists with restocking laboratory supplies.
• Input patient demographics and test result information into record systems.
• Answer telephone in section and respond accordingly.

Children’s Medical Group has been providing the highest quality Pediatric care since 1947. We are comprised of 4 offices in Atlanta, Johns Creek, Decatur and Buckhead.

This is a part-time position at our Buckhead location with a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule (3 days). There is also a Saturday rotation once a month from 8:30am-1:00pm.
