Rocking Horse Community Health Center in Springfield, OH, seeks a Clinical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join the Pediatric Clinical area. The role includes obtaining vital signs, taking patient history, and updating the EHR, with proficiency in blood draws on children under age two.

A certificate in medical assisting or phlebotomy is required, along with a high school diploma. The position is full-time and located at the South Limestone location in Springfield.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certificate in medical assisting or phlebotomy from an accredited program required.
• Experience drawing blood from pediatric patients preferred.
• Prior patient care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain an efficient flow in the Pediatric Clinical area.
• Obtain vitals, medical history and update the EHR as needed.
• Perform blood draws on children under 2 years old.
• Perform routine tests as required to prepare for patient visits with the medical team.
