Job summary

Intermountain Health Primary Children’s Hospital is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy services in multiple settings. The role involves assisting the pharmacist in dispensing, taking patient information, and ensuring safety and accuracy under supervision.

The position operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a 40-hour weekly schedule and competitive hourly pay. A strong emphasis on clinical accuracy and patient safety is expected.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing and preparation of medications.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer phones.
• Maintain records and practitioner communications per regulations and policies.
• Assist with inventory, 340B/charging management, and controlled substances security.
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.
