Job summary

Montefiore Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Department Manager for the CHAM Pediatric pharmacy division. This role oversees daily operations across inpatient, ambulatory, and sterile/non-sterile production units, ensuring compliance and safety in a dynamic hospital setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy with a NYS license, and PGY-1 residency is preferred. 3-5 years of relevant management experience is required to lead staff and coordinate quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Must have a valid NYS Pharmacist license and registration.
• Completion of a PGY 1 is preferred.
• Three-five years' experience is a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, planning and coordinating activities of inpatient, ambulatory and CHAM Pediatric pharmacy production divisions.
• Review staff time and attendance, ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, address drug-related problems and conduct quality improvement reviews.
• Oversee budgeting, accreditation requirements, policies and medication safety implementations.
