Job summary

CompleteRx seeks an Assistant Director of Pharmacy in Corpus Christi, TX, to lead pediatric pharmacy operations in partnership with Driscoll Children’s Hospital. This leadership role focuses on delivering safe, cost-effective drug therapies while guiding teams across the health system.

You will help ensure formulary adherence, staff development, budgeting, and education for healthcare professionals, patients, and families within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree required.
• License in good standing to practice pharmacy in Texas.
• 1–2 years of experience managing people and processes.
• 3–5 years of experience in a pediatric hospital preferred.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enforce, and maintain policies promoting safe, cost-effective drug therapy.
• Supervise drug storage and preparation areas across the health system.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals, patients, and families.
• Ensure formulary-compliant order fills and regulatory adherence.
• Assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and drug procurement processes.
• Support quality improvement and strategic planning for the pharmacy.
• Coordinate with physicians, nursing, and allied health staff within the health system.
