Job summary

Children’s Minnesota seeks a Pharmacy Manager - Clinical to provide system-wide leadership for pediatric pharmacy services. You will set clinical practice standards, drive safety and quality, and integrate operations with informatics and supply chain.

You will lead pharmacists, residents, and leaders, promoting professional growth while ensuring compliant, high‑quality care for children. Minnesota licensure and a PharmD are required, BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in Minnesota current or within three months.
• PharmD from an ACPE-accredited school; foreign grads must pass FPGEE/FPGEC.
• Experience in hospital/health-system pharmacy leadership preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medication safety, quality improvement, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide system-level strategic clinical leadership for pediatric pharmacy services across care settings.
• Lead, develop, and support clinical pharmacists and residents; promote growth and engagement.
• Establish pediatric pharmacy practice standards aligned with evidence-based guidelines.
• Serve as pediatric pharmacotherapy expert for high-risk populations and specialty services.
• Coordinate pharmacy services with informatics, operations, and supply chain.
• Lead formulary management, drug safety, and shortage mitigation with pediatric focus.
• Drive quality improvement, research, and value-based care initiatives.
• Collaborate with clinical and executive leaders to support system priorities.
• Represent pediatric clinical pharmacy in enterprise committees and planning.
• Fulfill management competencies and participate in strategic initiatives.
