Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals is seeking a Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Raleigh. You will review physician orders, ensure medications are accurate and appropriately dosed, and provide critical drug information to care teams to optimize pediatric outcomes.

The role emphasizes safety, timeliness, and collaboration with physicians and nurses, with opportunities to impact young patients and families. Licensure as a pharmacist is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist required.
• Pharmacy degree required (B.Pharm or PharmD).

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Dispense prescribed medications safely and timely.
• Provide clinical pharmacotherapy services to patients and care teams.
• Serve as the drug information resource for other health professionals.
• Support patient safety by ensuring correct dosing and monitoring as needed.
