Job summary

OU Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Pediatric OR as a Perioperative Circulator. This full-time day position supports the surgical team, ensuring patient safety and high-quality perioperative care for pediatric patients.

Minimum qualifications include an RN license in Oklahoma, a nursing degree, and 0–3 years of patient care experience with BLS certification. GI experience is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• 0–3 years of patient care experience as an RN.
• Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing (or equivalent multi-state license).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Aligns care with OU Health values and nursing standards.
• Assists physicians in perioperative examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
• Documents patient responses to interventions and updates orders accordingly.
• Monitors physiological data and administers medications as prescribed.
• Initiates IV infusions and blood products as needed.
• Communicates care plans with patients and families and supports discharge planning.
