Job summary

SGMC Health seeks compassionate Nursing Assistants for the Pediatrics department at the Main Campus. You will provide personal care, assist with ADLs, support RNs and LPNs, perform procedures, and help with equipment and supplies in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This full-time role follows a 7 on/7 off schedule, 3-11 shift, Mon-Fri with weekend coverage. A High School diploma is preferred; CNA certification is preferred; six months of patient care experience is preferred, with CPR certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Six months of patient care experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy/Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Graduate of PCT course strongly preferred.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR Certification preferred.
• General office skills and medical terminology preferred.
• General computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care and assists with ADLs.
• Assists RNs & LPNs with patient care procedures.
• Performs and assists with procedures.
• Assists with equipment/supply maintenance.
• Performs complex clerical duties.
