Job summary

Shriners Children’s is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to assist in direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse in our San Francisco area facilities.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma/GED, CNA or equivalent experience, and BLS certification. The role involves wound care, stocking units, and providing compassionate care to children and families in a pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or one year experience as a nursing assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Provide direct patient care and perform routine tasks as assigned.
• Demonstrate caring and appropriate behavior when interacting with patients and families.
• Assist with wound and skin care, keep unit stocked, and provide delegated nursing care activities as appropriate.
