Job summary

Shriners Children's in Boston is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will support activities of daily living, monitor patient safety, and help maintain a clean, organized environment in a pediatric care setting.

Required include a High School diploma or GED, CNA certification, CPR, and at least one year of pediatric experience. Preferred hospital setting experience and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
• One year of pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care including personal hygiene, nutrition, elimination, mobility, ambulation, comfort and rest.
• Orients the patient and family to the patient care areas and assists them to feel comfortable with their surroundings.
• Provides delegated nursing care activities and assists the caregiver as appropriate in daily care, oral hygiene, weights, I&O's.
