Job summary

Blue Ridge Health in Hendersonville, NC seeks a Patient Access Representative to join the Pediatric clinic team. You will support check-in/check-out, keep patient data current and confidential, and assist with scheduling by phone. A friendly, patient-centered approach is essential.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in a medical office (preferred but not required).
• Stellar communication skills for interacting with staff, patients, providers, peers, supervisors and community stakeholders.
• Team player who collaborates across departments to foster a positive work environment.
• Desire to work with an interdisciplinary healthcare team and a culturally diverse patient population.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
• Assist patients with check-in and check-out during appointments.
• Maintain up-to-date, confidential patient data.
• Answer patient phone calls to help schedule appointments.
