Job summary

The Northwell Health Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking a Pediatric Pathologist to join a division based at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York. The successful candidate will work alongside two other pediatric pathologists and cover pediatric surgical pathology, perinatal and placental pathology.

Eligible candidates must be AP board-certified in Anatomic Pathology; board certification in Pediatric Pathology is preferred.

Qualifications

• AP board-certified in Anatomic Pathology; Board Certification in Pediatric Pathology preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills and teaching residents.
• Preference for more than one year post-fellowship experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose pediatric surgical, perinatal and placental pathology.
• Collaborate with two other pediatric pathologists across Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Cohen Children s Medical Center.
• Engage in teaching residents and contribute to academic activities.
