Job summary

The Northwell Health Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine seeks a Pediatric Pathologist to join two other pediatric pathologists in the Pediatric Pathology Division based at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York (CCMCNY).

Northwell Health offers an academic appointment with the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and a competitive base compensation. Physicians will be employed as members of Northwell Physician Partners.

Qualifications

• AP board-certified in Anatomic Pathology.
• Board certification in Pediatric Pathology preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills with experience in teaching residents.
• More than one year of post-fellowship experience preferred; strong candidates without prior experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose pediatric surgical pathology cases, perinatal, and placental pathology.
• Participate in resident teaching and academic activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Northwell Health.

Education

AP board-certified in Anatomic Pathology

Board Certification in Pediatric Pathology preferred

Fellowship in Pediatric Pathology completed
