Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a Pediatric Pain & Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver family-centered care for infants to young adults with acute and chronic conditions.

The NP will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, manage pain and symptoms, and facilitate goals-of-care discussions. The appointment is limited to 8 months with potential conversion. Sanctioned certifications and CA licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Pediatric Acute Care NP from an accredited program.
• California RN/NP licensure, NPF and NPI/DFA registration where applicable.
• Board certification in Pediatric Acute Care NP is required.
• BLS and PALS certifications must be current.
• Minimum two years of acute care pediatric NP experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, family-centered pain and symptom management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Lead goals-of-care discussions with patients and families.
• Document patient care concisely in the medical record.
