Qualifications

• BSN required and specialty certification within 2 years or 2,000 hours of experience.
• 2 years experience in Pediatric cardiology; electrophysiology experience preferred.
• Must understand child growth and development across age groups.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct/indirect patient care for Pediatric cardiovascular pacemaker and ICD patients.
• Consults with staff on management of Pediatric patients undergoing pacemaker/ICD procedures.
• Collaborates with physicians to manage implant demand matching.
• Educates staff and families about devices and follow-up care.
• Develops and maintains pacemaker/ICD service protocols and safety standards.
• Maintains the PACE ART database and generates reports.
