Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Pediatric Nurse in an outpatient clinic setting. The successful candidate will provide professional nursing care, perform assessments, and coordinate care for diverse pediatric patients.

Responsibilities include patient education, medication coordination, and collaboration with physicians and support staff to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Board of Nursing accredited program of professional nursing or scheduled to complete a program within 120 days of applying.
• Current Registered Nursing license in Texas or temporary permit to practice pending full licensure.
• New graduates must pass NCLEX-RN on first attempt.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in outpatient pediatrics clinics and sub-specialties.
• Perform nursing assessments, document in EMR, and coordinate patient care across services.
• Support patient and family education, medication management, and follow-up planning.
• Triage clinical inquiries and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
