Job summary

Intermountain Health's Primary Childrens at Lehi is seeking a pediatric Outpatient Occupational Therapist to screen, evaluate, and treat injuries and disabilities using standard OT practices. This full-time role features four 10-hour shifts per week, offering a balanced schedule and patient-centered care.

You will collaborate with an integrated team of therapists and clinicians to support children across diagnoses, mentor staff, and contribute to program development and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license in states where you work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
• Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abides by service standards.
• Provides skilled occupational therapy services, staying updated on standard practices for different patient groups; develops care plans with goals.
• Meets established productivity standards for the department.
• Keeps thorough and timely patient records; completes billing accurately.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers about patient needs and goals.
• Manages all aspects of patient care and education, including supervising staff and students.
• Participates in continuing education opportunities and promotes learning for staff.
• Engages in quality improvement processes and utilization audits.
• Participates in patient care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, and department meetings.
• Contributes to program development and marketing strategies for the OT program.
