Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health's St. Rita's Medical Center is seeking an Outpatient Occupational Therapist to support pediatric and adolescent patients, focusing on helping them perform daily tasks and participate in school and community activities.

The role covers assessments, treatment planning, and progress documentation across outpatient, inpatient, and off-site settings. The therapist will review referrals, conduct evaluations, administer prescribed therapies, and educate families about home

Qualifications

• Licensure as Occupational Therapist in the current state of practice (or trainee/temporary license qualifications)
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

Responsibilities

• Review referrals and patient history to determine therapy needs.
• Perform evaluations, re-evaluations, and develop treatment plans.
• Administer therapy treatments and create equipment as needed.
• Develop programs for functional skills, daily activities, and motor skills.
• Monitor progress and adjust goals; participate in care conferences.
• Educate patients and families on at-home treatment procedures.
