Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist at St. Vincent Medical Center in Ohio. The role focuses on evaluating patients, planning and implementing therapy, and documenting progress across outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and off-site settings.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of current practice (required)
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, required within 30 days for BSMH)

Responsibilities

• Review physician referrals and patient history to determine therapy needs.
• Conduct and document patient evaluations and treatment plans per dept. protocols.
• Administer occupational therapy treatments and create custom equipment.
• Develop programs focusing on functional skills, vocational training, daily activities, and motor skills.
• Monitor progress and adjust goals; participate in care conferences.
• Educate patients and families on at‑home treatment procedures.
