Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team focused on pediatric care. You will assess clients, tailor interventions to develop fine motor, language, cognition, and self-care skills, and guide families to reinforce treatment at home.

The role emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and a fun, supportive culture while supporting kids with neurodiverse needs and related therapies.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• OT licensure or license eligible in the state of Illinois.
• Must pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary.
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more.
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment.
