Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy seeks a licensed pediatric Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team in Illinois. You will assess and treat children, applying interventions to develop fine motor, cognition, language, self-care, and regulatory skills.

The role includes mentoring families to reinforce therapeutic practices and collaborating with SLPs, PTs, counselors, and ABA professionals in a supportive, fun environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• OT licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois.
• Experience with pediatric clients and collaborative care with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary.
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more.
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment.
