Job summary

Wyandotte School District in Michigan is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) with pediatric experience to join our team. You will provide therapy and rehabilitation services to help students participate in classroom tasks and improve functional independence through individualized treatment plans.

You will work with the IEP team, conduct assessments, adjust plans as needed, document evaluations, goals, and treatment plans, and ensure safe use of materials.

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR).
• Active state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• At least 6 months of relevant OT experience within the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine student functional needs and set developmentally appropriate goals
• Reassess progress regularly and adjust therapy plans to optimize outcomes
• Document evaluations, goals, and treatment plans in accordance with school standards
• Select and utilize materials and equipment safely and efficiently to support therapy goals
• Perform all responsibilities with professionalism, care, and a student-centered mindset
