Family of Kidz is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support children in Nassau County school districts. The role involves designing individual and group interventions, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with school teams to advance student outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a NY State OT license, graduate from an accredited OT program, and may have bilingual abilities. The position offers full-time or fee-for-service schedules with comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
