Job summary

Westside Children’s Therapy Inc. is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist in the New Lenox/Frankfort area to support pediatric clients with diverse needs.

You’ll assess, plan, and implement therapy, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions. Ideal candidates hold an OT degree, are licensed or license-eligible in Illinois, and bring a passion for neurodiverse pediatric populations, strong communication, and teamwork to the clinic.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• OT licensure or license eligible in the state of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary.
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions to develop fine motor skills, cognition, language, self-care, regulation, and more.
• Provide support and guidance to clients’ families enabling them to foster behaviors and practices from treatment.
