Job summary

School of Imagination in Dublin, CA is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join an integrated early childhood care team. The OT works with SLP, ABA, and Infant Development to support sensory, motor, and daily living skills within classroom routines.

Responsibilities include assessments, direct therapy, interdisciplinary case conferences, documentation in CentralReach, and coaching families to apply strategies at home. CA licensure is required for this role.

Qualifications

• California OT License (OTR/L) — required to begin.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Commitment to interprofessional collaboration and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with electronic health records; CentralReach familiarity preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment & Clinical Evaluation of sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, self-regulation, and daily living tasks.
• Deliver individual and small-group therapy sessions aligned to each child's plan and IEP goals.
• Coordinate goals and ensure cross-disciplinary treatment approaches are reinforcing.
• Document progress and maintain compliant records in CentralReach.
• Provide parent and caregiver training to extend OT strategies at home.
