MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Occupational Therapist to deliver one-on-one OT in homes, daycares, and schools in the Greater Houston area. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Provide evidence-based OT services per physician-approved Plans of Care.
• Address fine motor, sensory processing, coordination, strength, ROM, self-care, and ADLs.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license by anticipated start date
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• Previous experience supervising COTAs is preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services in accordance with physician-approved Plans of Care
• Address functional skills including fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, range of motion, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and activities of daily living
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
