Job summary

Caring Angels Home Care is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists for pediatric home-based cases, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time employment.

The position offers a base salary of $125,000.00 per year and a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental insurance, a 401k plan after 3 months, 27 paid time off days and 9 paid holidays. FFS available at a $100.00 rate per 30-minute session. Weekend caseload option and door-to-door driver service are also available.

Qualifications

• Licensed by The State of New York as Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assessing the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan
• Giving advice and providing support for family members and Carers
• Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient
• Helping children to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances
• Assisting patients’ exercise for pain relief
• Reviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly
• Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls
