Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed by The State of New York as Occupational Therapist.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Occupational Therapy License is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.
• Advise and provide support for family members and carers.
• Assess the home, school and work environments of the patient.
• Help children participate in daily activities based on their unique circumstances.
• Assist patients’ exercises for pain relief.
• Review progress and adapt treatment accordingly.
• Perform administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls.
