Job summary

Caring Angels Home Care, LLC in New York is seeking a dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric home-based team. The position offers a starting salary of $125,000 and an excellent benefits package.

You will assess patients, educate families, and optimize home, school, and work environments to support daily activities. The role requires NY OT licensure, a Master’s degree (preferred), and in-person work with the option to cover weekends.

Qualifications

• Licensed by The State of New York as Occupational Therapist.
• Master's degree preferred.
• New York State OT license required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.
• Provide advice and support for family members and carers.
• Assess the home, school and work environments of the patient.
• Help children take part in everyday activities based on their circumstances.
• Assist patients’ exercises for pain relief.
• Review patient progress and adapt treatment accordingly.
• Perform administrative tasks such as keeping records and writing reports.
