Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to serve pediatric patients in the Greater Houston area. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized goals, and provide evidence-based OT services aligned with physician plans of care.

New grads are welcome. A Spanish bilingual skill is a plus, with opportunities for flexible scheduling (Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN) and a supportive clinical team. Compensation includes a sign-on bonus and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Texas OT license by start date.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Supervising COTAs experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services per physician-approved Plans of Care.
• Address functional skills including fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, ROM, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and ADLs.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
