Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Greater Houston area. You will perform comprehensive evaluations, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based OT services aligned with physician plans of care.

Qualified candidates hold a Texas OT license and are ready to address pediatric needs. New grads are welcome, bilingual Spanish is a plus, and supervision of COTAs is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license by anticipated start date.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services in accordance with physician-approved Plans of Care.
• Address functional skills including fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, range of motion, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and activities of daily living.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
