Job summary

Medcarepediatric in Texas is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based OT services for pediatric care.

New graduates are welcome; bilingual Spanish is a plus, and supervising COTAs is preferred but not required. Flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, and PRN options, along with a sign-on bonus, support a balanced caseload across Greater Houston and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Texas OT license by start date.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Experience supervising COTAs preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services per physician-approved Plans of Care.
• Address fine motor, sensory processing, coordination, strength, ROM, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavior and activities of daily living.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate families/caregivers on techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
