Job summary

Achieve Beyond is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric therapy team in Hudson Valley, NY. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to work in homes, clinics, and community settings to support children birth to 21 years old.

You will evaluate and provide ongoing therapy, educate families on intervention strategies, and document progress while collaborating with supervisors and staff to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about working with children and families.
• NY S Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in NY.
• 1–2 years of experience working with children birth–5 preferred but not required.
• Self-motivated team player with patience and professionalism.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth to 21 years in natural settings.
• Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate participation and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics, and community settings.
• Follow the therapy plan, plan ongoing treatment, and document progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated.
• Maintain child records and confidentiality in line with HIPAA and laws.
