Job summary

Sanilac County Community Mental Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist (Union) for all sites. The role features 40 hours per week, with compensation $34.79–$40.83 per hour ($72,366–$84,927 annually).

Position dates ASAP; supervisor is Clinical Supervisor; location CMH Administrative Building. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master’s in Human Services and Michigan OT/OTR registration; for staff working with children, 24 hours of Children’s training per year; experience requirements

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Services from an accredited program.
• Registration as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) by the state of Michigan.
• For those working with children, 24 hours of Children's training per calendar year required.
• Minimum experience: 1 year for MA degree, 3 years for BA degree in examination, evaluation and treatment of SED Children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provides OT services including testing, assessment, and treatment.
• Develops treatment plans and monitors progress.
• Acts as consultant to staff, families, and providers.
• Completes OT evaluations for home modifications.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment teams.
• Maintains documentation and reports as required.
