Job summary

Soar Autism Center is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to support children ages 2-6 in a center-based early intervention setting. You will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate OT services, addressing motor, sensory, feeding and daily living skills, within an interdisciplinary team using the ESDM approach.

Collaborating with SLPs, BCBAs, psychologists and other clinicians, you’ll help families set meaningful goals and reinforce therapy across the child’s day, while pursuing

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy; licensure required unless eligible with a Bachelor's degree
• Current license to practice occupational therapy
• Experience working with children preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate OT for children ages 2–6
• Develop interventions addressing motor, sensory, feeding, and daily living skills
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans with SLPs, BCBAs, psychologists and others
• Integrate OT goals into Soar's ESDM-informed approach
• Support children with autism through naturalistic, engaging, individualized treatment
• Partner with families to set meaningful goals and practical strategies
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians to reinforce OT goals throughout the day
• Monitor progress and adapt plans based on data and clinical judgment
