Job summary

CDS First Step in Lewiston seeks a qualified pediatric Occupational Therapist to work with infants and toddlers birth-2 with developmental delays. This is a 40-hour-per-week calendar year position located in the Lewiston area with local travel required.

Join a multidisciplinary team and provide evaluation and therapy services, participate in IFSP/IEP processes, and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards while supporting families and children.

Qualifications

• State of Maine Occupational Therapist License.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence.
• Successful background, criminal records, fingerprinting and reference check.
• Knowledge of child development and special education methods.
• Ability to travel to a variety of locations to deliver services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide therapy services to birth-2 with developmental delays.
• Collaborate with IFSP/IEP teams and families to develop goals.
• Document and write reports to meet MaineCare and regulatory requirements.
